There is always a trade off.

Trade offs are everywhere. They are in every decision. Keeping the user in mind while discovering and comparing trade offs is imperative to ultimately serving the user. Having the ability to understand how trade offs effect other teams and future projects helps to provide efficiency later on.

There is always an idea.

When developing a feature, other ideas can tend to flood the head. Not just for the one creating the new feature, but possibly for everyone involved. The scope increases, and deadlines may be missed. Having a roadmap and staying organized is crucial for long term success. An active effort must be made to stay focused on the task at hand.
